WHAT WILL HAPPEN DURING MY APPOINTMENT?

We will discuss the specifics for your pet during our initial conversation. In most situations your pet will receive an injection to help them sleep which will be followed by another injection to help them pass away. Some pets may need pre-visit sedation or oral medications to help make the visit as peaceful as possible. The total time for the visit is usually around an hour.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER?

We will help you make the best decision for your family which could include burial, communal cremation (cremation without ashes returned), or private cremation (cremation with return of ashes). We can also facilitate memorial items like claw paw prints, ink prints, hair clippings, and memorial jewelry.

WHO SHOULD BE THERE?

This too is different for each family but it may be helpful for other bonded pets to be present. Depending on their age and understanding it can be helpful for children to be present as well. We will decide based on your unique situation. We do welcome all involved family members to be preset if they contribute to the pets comfort.
